Technical Writer

Professional & Scientific Associates is seeking a Technical Writer.  This is a full-time position which is performed remotely.


The Technical Writer is primarily responsible for researching opportunities, and developing and writing high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals and responses to Government Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Sources Sought solicitations. Additional duties will include providing editing and writing support to our Operational teams, assisting in the development of marketing materials explaining the capabilities of PSA, as well as supporting other writing and editing requirements within the company as necessary.

Regional Team Lead (RTL)

Professional & Scientific Associates is seeking a Regional Team Lead (RTL) to support an international Government event planning contract.  This is a consultant position an is performed remotely.


The Regional Team Lead will support a large International event support contract with the US Government. The Regional Team Lead will be responsible for all tasks required for successfully carrying out international events from initiation to closeout and ensure that technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner.

The duties of the Regional Team Lead will include, but are not limited to overseeing travel arrangements (e.g. visas, passports, plane, train, and bus); ground transportation requirements; hotel and lodging reservations; per diem calculations and disbursements; conference/training/breakout space leasing or renting, handling equipment rental, leasing or reservations (to include equipment checkout and check in); preparation and shipping of fliers, pamphlets, and other documents to and from the conferences, etc.

The Regional Team Lead will be responsible for monitoring and tracking expenditures to ensure they are within BPA call limits, obtaining and compiling all receipts and invoices from travelers, vendors and subcontractors, submitting invoices to the Government and closing out BPA calls.

Preferred candidates will be fluent in French, Spanish or Arabic.  Work can be done remotely in consultant’s home office, however, consultants based in the Washington D.C. area are preferred.  Position requires limited travel.  Events are assigned to the Regional Team Lead on an “as-needed” basis in response to government requirements.
